Pray for our Elders Wisdom

It is no small thing to become a shepherd over the household of God. Discerning the needs of our assembly; settling disputes, overseeing the proper stewardship of people's giving, deciding future needs, administering services, activities and volunteers - all takes much wisdom and fortitude. Elders often feel, as Solomon did, under qualified to lead the people of God. So pray that God would grant the elders of Bethany wisdom and the spiritual insight they need to fulfil their duties as elders.
